Armenia Will Host 2015 Ministerial Summit of the European Higher Education Area
Armenia was selected as the host country for the 2015 Ministerial Summit of the European Higher Education Area during the Session of the Bologna Follow-up Group held in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 19, 2012. Representatives from 47 member-countries of the Bologna Process took part in the session.
Thus, Armenia will assume the role of the secretary of the Bologna process for the next three years and will become the capital of the European Higher Education Area. It’s worth mentioning, that Armenia is the only non-European Union member country to be entrusted with such an important mission.
This decision reflects a serious appraisal on the successful implementation of the processes toward the internalization of the Armenian education system and education reforms.
