NTO mission: Information and promotion activities

  • Promote and disseminate all information regarding the Tempus programme and other EU programmes in the field of higher education (eg: Erasmus Mundus)
  • Organise conferences, seminars, information days, and other actions and events to promote the Tempus programme and to exploit its results
  • Observe and disseminate the latest visibility guidelines concerning acknowledgement of EU financing of all Tempus projects and activities

NTO mission: Assistance to potential applicants and to beneficiaries

  • Advise, inform and assist potential applicants
  • Organise information/contact meetings, seminars for potential applicants
  • Assist in the search of national or foreign partners (liaise with other NTOs or EU Member States National Contact Points)
  • Assistance to institutions involved in project implementation (in relation to visa, tax, importing equipment and contacts with local authorities)
  • Promote inter project cooperation and enhance synergy between projects

NTO mission: Field monitoring

  • Organise and conduct field monitoring visits
  • Assist EACEA and other actors in their field monitoring / audit visits
  • Assist EU officials or experts contracted by the EU/EACEA in their visits to the country (sectoral studies, policy studies, project identification or formulation, mid term or final evaluations)
  • Maintain regular contacts with all stakeholders (local authorities, universities, etc)
  • Support to the teams of Higher education reform Experts.

Erasmus Mundus Pre-Departure Orientation Meeting 2014

On July 11, 2014 Erasmus Mundus Pre-Departure Orientation Meeting was organized at EU Center in Armenia. The event was sponsored by the Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA).

The aim of the meeting was to provide Armenian students, who were awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, with information on EMA, Erasmus+ programme, travel and visa arrangements, practical issues and success stories.
NTO-Armenia representative also contributed to the event with information support.

Workshop “Issues of the National Qualifications Framework of RA for Higher Education”

Within Tempus "ARMENQA" Project a Workshop on “Issues of the National Qualifications Framework of RA for Higher Education” was organised at Yerevan State University on 24-25 June 2014.
ARMENQA's (Implementation of National and Sectorial Qualifications Frameworks in Armenia) wider objective is to enhance the employability of Armenian HEIs’ graduates and facilitate the recognition of Armenian qualifications in the labour market nationally and internationally.

Tempus La MANCHE Project’s 4th Partner Meeting

Tempus La MANCHE Project’s 4th partner meeting was held on 10-12 June 2014 in Yerevan. The meeting was hosted by Yerevan State University.

The aim of the event was to discuss the project progress, share the experience and disseminate project results achieved in the field of university governance, educational management and leadership in academic settings.

Tempus Higher Education Reform Experts Seminar on Quality Assurance, Zagreb, Croatia

On 12-13 June 2014 Seminar on Implementing Quality Assurance within Higher Education Institutions in the Tempus Partner Countries was organised in University of Zagreb, Croatia.

The aim of the seminar was to encourage reflection and discussion among Tempus Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) on the general challenges and trends in Quality Assurance (QA) in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Tempus partner countries.

The seminar intended to offer a unique opportunity for country representatives to exchange information and experiences about on-going developments in their countries notably in relation with Tempus activities and projects. It was also expected to produce a set of recommendations and advice for practitioners at national and institutional level and to provide ideas and suggestions for the future implementation of the recently launched Erasmus+ programme.
